Do I need to provide any equipment or tools?
No. Task Helper gardeners bring everything they need, including a mower, line trimmer, hedge trimmers, and hand tools. If you have specific equipment requirements, add a note when you book.
Can I book a regular lawn mow?
Yes. Book a one-off mow or set up recurring bookings for weekly or fortnightly mowing. You can save a helper as a favourite and request the same person each time, so they get to know your section.
Do helpers take away garden waste?
Yes. Task Helper gardeners bring bags or a trailer for green waste removal. If your job involves a large amount of waste, note it when you book.
Can I book gardening help while I am not home?
Yes. Many customers book mowing and gardening while they are at work. Just arrange access to the section and add any relevant notes when you book.
What areas do you cover?
Task Helper is building helper coverage across New Zealand. Enter your address when you book and we will match you with available gardeners near you. If coverage is light in your area right now, you can schedule for a time when a helper is available.
What if my section is very large?
For larger sections, book a longer time slot or more than one helper. Task Helper will calculate a price based on the scope you describe.
What if I am not happy with the result?
Task Helper holds your payment in escrow until you confirm the job is complete. Raise it in the app within 24 hours if you are not satisfied. Do not confirm completion if you are not happy with the work.
