Pick a service category, describe what needs doing, and set your preferred date and time window. Task Helper calculates a fixed price upfront - no guessing, no commitments yet.

Your card is collected at this step but not charged yet. Nothing leaves your account until a helper accepts the job.

Instant dispatch. First to accept gets the job.

The moment you confirm your booking, nearby police-checked helpers receive a notification. First available helper to accept gets the job - no bidding, no waiting on quotes.

Once a helper accepts, they have a 20-minute window to confirm they are on their way. If they do not, the job automatically goes to the next available helpers. Once your helper is on their way, you will see live GPS tracking in the app.

Your helper arrives at the agreed time, does the job, and marks it complete in the app including a photo confirmation. You will receive a notification to review and confirm.

Photo confirmation is required at job completion - so there is always a record of the work done.

Job done. Payment sorted.

Once you confirm the job is complete, payment is automatically released to your helper within 24 hours. No cash. No bank transfers.

24-hour payment hold - your protection window. Funds only release once you are satisfied. Not happy with something? You have a 24-hour window after job completion to raise a dispute in the app. Task Helper holds the funds during that window.
